Check Application Requirements

Before you apply, it’s important to be sure that you can meet the minimum requirements for admission. Some programs may have more stringent requirements than others, so make sure to check each program’s website before you apply.

When it comes to checking requirements, there are a few things to look at:

  • The GPA requirement: Some programs require at least a 3.0 GPA on your undergraduate degree (or even higher), while others will allow a 2.5 GPA or lower. It pays off to do some research and find out what kind of grades the program will accept before applying!
  • The deadline for applying: Each school has different deadlines for when they’ll start accepting applications and when they’ll have their decisions ready by—this can range from September 1st all the way up until April 15th! Definitely don’t procrastinate if you want your application submitted early enough in order for them to get back with an answer before next semester starts! (If you’re looking at online schools like ours here at American College Of Legal Studies®, just remember our policy about “no refunds” after May 1st.)
  • Application fee: This one might seem straightforward but it definitely isn’t! Some schools charge per credit hour like ours does ($500 per semester hour), which means if someone wants 10 credit hours taken over 4 semesters instead of 6 then they need pay us twice as much in total fees ($2k vs $1k). Other schools charge based on how many years’ worth of classes someone wants taken (like 12 credits per year instead 6). So again – make sure whatever information is available while researching this type
